Remarks: These values apply in most cases. Further information are to be sought for the unusual cases, e. g.:
1 if the room temperatures are too high, that is to say above 30° C.
2 for very long cables.
3 in presence of poor ventilation.
4 when the cables are used for the others purposes, for ex. inner wiring harness of a device.
Applications:
for general use in domestic rooms, in the kitchen, offices and for power supply of portable devices which afe subject to slight mechanical stresses (for ex. aspirators, kitchen, utensils, welding, irons, toasters). It is not suitable also for: permanent use outdoors, in farm- or industrial workshops or for power supply of tools domestic use.
Conductor:
single copper wire, annealed, not tinned or tinned.
Insulation:
EI 3 rubber or thermoplastic.
Sheath:
EM 4 rubber or thermoplastic.
Marking:
continuous marking:
ELETTROBRESCIA IEMMEQU <HAR> H05GG-F
on the sheath and/or on the insulating material.
Max. operating temperature:
110° C on the conductor.
Max. temperature in case of short circuit:
(max. duration 5 sec.): 250° C on the conductor.
Min. bending radius:
if the outer diameter of the cable is between 6 and 12 mm: 4 times the max. outer diameter in case of non-constrained motion, and 3 times in case of fixed installation. If the outer diameter is greater than 12 mm: 5 times the max. outer diameter in case of non- constrained motion and 4 times in case of fixed instalIation.
Max. laying stress:
15 N for mm² of copper total section.
Core colours:
bipolar blue-brown
triple-pole yellow/green-blue-brown
Four-pole yellow/green-brown-black-grey
or
yellow/green-blue-brown-black
Five-pole yellow/green-blue-brown-black-grey
Sheath colour:
standard = black.
Other colours can be supplied upon request and for quantities to be agreed.
